Requirements
- 4 years of experience developing custom software solutions for web, on-prem, and cloud environments.
- 4 years of experience in data extraction, manipulation, and visualization using Java, Python, R, and/or JavaScript.
- Strong Linux skills with experience in hybrid cloud/on-prem architectures (AWS, C2S, OpenStack, etc.).
- Experience with big data technologies such as Kubernetes, Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Accumulo, and ElasticSearch.
- Experience with workflow and streaming tools such as Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of common industry software tools, DevSecOps practices, and working with open-source resources in government computing environments.
Responsibilities
- Create discovery and automation tools to enable geospatial and intelligence analysis of complex problems utilizing an array of data types and sources.
- Develop enabling software solutions using a variety of scripting languages that address real world user requirements; writes and debugs custom code and creates user documentation.
- Monitor and understand high level operational geospatial processes.
- Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.

- Degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, GIS) or equivalent experience.
