Zions Bancorporation is looking to transform its workforce of the future by building a self-service portal to accelerate cloud adoption while ensuring consistent security and governance around cloud deployments.
Requirements
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred), cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
Expertise in both front-end and back-end development, including programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java), frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Spring Boot), and databases (e.g., relational, NoSQL).
Good understanding of Network and Security principles.
Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach other engineers.
8+ years of full stack development experience.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the technical strategy, roadmap and architectural design of software systems.
Develop and maintain scalable applications using full-stack technologies.
Creates and manages CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Mentor and guide engineers on technical aspects of cloud and full-stack development.
Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and departments.
Lead and facilitate technical discussions and presentations.
Act as a technical advisor and reviewer for critical projects.

Ability to mentor junior engineers, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and facilitate clear communication across the organization.
Bachelor’s in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and make a difference for the clients and communities we serve.
100% remote work option within the United States or hybrid work schedule (3 days a week in office) if within 50 miles of the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
