UBS is looking for a Tech Engineer to build scalable application to support Firmwide data distribution infrastructure and design and build best-in-class, enterprise scale applications using the latest technologies.
Requirements
- proven track record of Full stack development using in Java, Spring-boot, JPA and React
- excellent understanding and hands-on experience of Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Microservices
- a good understanding of Cloud Native microservice architecture, database concept, Cloud Fundamentals and Gitlab
- hands on experience in web development (React, Angular, EXT JS)
- experience with Relational Database (Postgresql)
- unit testing framework (i.e. Junit)
- proven delivery experience in Kafka ecosystem with cluster/broker implementation and topic producer/consumer performance improvement experience.
Responsibilities
- develop web services and share development expertise about best practices
- implement solutions which is scalable by applying right design principles & UBS practices
- work with leaders, deliver the requirements, and collaborate to refine user requirements
- analyze root causes of incidents, document and provide answers
- apply methodical approach to software solutions through open discussions
- perform regular code reviews and share results with colleagues
