Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to work in a multidisciplinary team applying engineering and machine learning concepts to solve complex and highly technical problems on aerospace and defense applications. The goal is to develop software applications that enable real-world operators to leverage engineering solutions, improve workflow, and enhance mission-critical tasking.
Requirements
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficient with source control technologies (Git, Gitlab)
- Hands on experience setting up and maintaining CICD pipelines
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking and working knowledge of remote system workflows (SSH, port forwarding, server/client architecture, etc)
- Proficiency in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles, with attention to usability and visual appeal.
- Hands-on experience with front-end web frameworks (e.g., View.js, Angular, React) and backend services (e.g., RESTful API development with Python Flask).
Responsibilities
- design and continued development of new and existing user-facing applications leveraging common front-end frameworks such as View.js
- build and maintain back-end services to facilitate communication with our proprietary decision-making framework that serves as the central hub for engineering solutions
- further the development of existing software applications
- pioneer new web-based applications to support growing programmatic demands
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in web development and programming.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Solid technical communication skills and an ability to work in both collaborative team environments and independently.
- Experience unit testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, vitest) is strongly desired.
