UFP Industries is seeking a web developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications for their internal ERP system, contributing to the strategic direction of web development efforts.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in primary programming language (C-Sharp).
- Strong proficiency with modern web frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET Core/Blazor, React, or similar).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL/Microsoft SQL Server, Progress ABL).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines).
- Preferred experience with Blazor and Blazor component libraries (e.g. MudBlazor).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web-based features and applications for UFP’s ERP system.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and security through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
- Take on complex and critical projects that require architectural design work, advanced technical and problem-solving skills, and often cross-functional collaboration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
- Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment and add documentation where applicable.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of web development initiatives, including modernization and system improvements.
