Companions Journeying Together needs to enhance their existing web-based system for the Aunt Mary's Storybook program, which connects incarcerated people with their children through audio readings of stories. The goal is to add new features, fix bugs, and improve the delivery of their services.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PHP and SQL
- Experience with CodeIgniter or similar MVC frameworks
- Experience with Bootstrap is a plus
- A detail-oriented approach to coding and problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other volunteer developers to add features and fix bugs
- Work with a codebase hosted in GitHub, built using CodeIgniter 4, and hosted on Amazon AWS
- Participate in team communication via Slack
