HRT is looking to hire Full Stack Developers to work on their platform or acceleration teams. These developers will build backend processes and UIs to ingest, transform, visualize, and action vast quantities of financial data, supporting internal customers including algo researchers and traders.
Requirements
- Experience working with Python and React
- Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript
- React skills are required!
- backend programming skills (primarily Python)
- experience working in JavaScript/TypeScript on a modern web framework
Responsibilities
- Work on our in-house distributed-compute framework designed for execution on a large scale within HRT’s compute cluster.
- Work closely with our Algo Developers and traders, building backend processes and UIs for them to oversee trading processes, execute manual trades, assess risk, and research improvements to our strategies.
- Architect web-based tooling to provide insights and enable real-time actions using financial data, operational data, trading activity, and more using React and Python.

Other
- All of our Full Stack Developers have internal customers and deeply understand end-user needs.
- Work closely with a variety of senior technical and non-technical users and own projects end-to-end, from inception to gathering and refining requirements, forming and executing a structured plan, and managing ongoing support and iterations to the initial plan.
