HRT is looking to hire Full Stack Developers to work on their platform or acceleration teams, building backend processes and UIs to ingest, transform, visualize, and action vast quantities of data for internal customers, specifically algo researchers and traders.
Requirements
- Experience working with Python and React
- Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript
- React skills are required!
- comfortable with working on both sides of the stack
Responsibilities
- Work on our in-house distributed-compute framework designed for execution on a large scale within HRT’s compute cluster.
- Work closely with our Algo Developers and traders, building backend processes and UIs for them to oversee trading processes, execute manual trades, assess risk, and research improvements to our strategies.
- Architect web-based tooling to provide insights and enable real-time actions using financial data, operational data, trading activity, and more using React and Python.
Other
- Work closely with a variety of senior technical and non-technical users and own projects end-to-end, from inception to gathering and refining requirements, forming and executing a structured plan, and managing ongoing support and iterations to the initial plan.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
