Whatnot is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to develop a world-class Customer Support platform that enhances user satisfaction and operational efficiency by creating innovative user-facing features, scaling and optimizing internal infrastructure, and designing intelligent automation solutions to manage thousands of customer issues per hour.
Requirements
- Proficiency in backend development with Python and/or experience with Postgres databases.
- Experience with Next.js, Web development, or Native mobile development is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, preferably within high-growth startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new user-facing features to enhance the Customer Experience platform.
- Scale and optimize internal infrastructure to support high-volume customer interactions.
- Design and deploy intelligent automation solutions to efficiently handle large volumes of customer issues.
- Lead end-to-end technical solutions, translating business needs into actionable engineering tasks.
- Drive project delivery, experimentation, and continuous improvement while balancing speed, impact, and technical quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with company goals.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment.
