Peraton is seeking a Data Manager to support the DHA Solution Delivery Division (SDD) Clinical Support PMO for assigned product lines. The data manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization, storage, and governance of product line data.
Requirements
- Ability to gather data from various sources and structuring data that is easily accessible and usable.
- Understanding of how to design and manage databases to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and security.
- Ability to use data to identify trends that can inform decision-making and problem-solving.
- Ability to implement measures to protect data from unauthorized access, breaches, and corruption, while also adhering to data governance policies.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data to maintain its reliability and accuracy.
- Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner using charts and graphs to facilitate understanding and communication.
- Ability to develop and implement data management strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop policies, procedures, and strategies for data collection, processing, sharing, and protection, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Design and maintain the organization's data architecture, including data repositories.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, including data validation, cleansing, and profiling.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, data breaches, and data loss.
- Manage the data lifecycle, from creation to archiving and deletion.
- Develop and implement data integration strategies to combine data from different sources.
- Establish policies and procedures for data access and sharing, ensuring appropriate access for authorized users.
Other
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD.
- Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) or the ability to obtain one.
- Travel as needed to support conferences and/or as requested by Government client.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- ITIL4 and PMP certification (current).
