Intuitive is looking to improve the early diagnosis of lung cancer through the development of the Ion endoluminal system, a robotic platform for minimally invasive biopsy in the peripheral lung.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in CS, EE, ME, BioE or related fields with 6+ years of related experience
- Exceptional programming skills; C++ knowledge preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in computer vision, medical image insights, registration, robotics, sensor fusion, and/or machine learning
- Experience with development in Linux
- Experience with OOP design
- Knowledge of one or more of the following libraries and tools: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, ITK, VTK, ROS
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, start-up-like business unit
- Develop new algorithms and software implementations related to medical image study and/or computer vision
- Prototype and iterate on designs, develop tests, and deliver high-quality software in C++
- Create requirements and formal test protocols for new features
