Electronic Arts is looking to solve the problem of creating next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world, specifically in the area of gameplay engineering for their F1 franchise.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with reading and writing C++ code
  • Use debugging and profiling tools
  • Familiar with 3D maths and geometry
  • Knowledge of general UI or gameplay related programming
  • Hunger to learn and ask questions
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Work on a huge racing game within our studios
  • Interact with other disciplines such as games designers, artists, and producers
  • Join either our gameplay or UIX engineering teams, working in mixed discipline groups to deliver amazing new experiences for our players
  • Contribute to the development of the F1 franchise
  • Collaborate with other software engineers to deliver high-quality game experiences
  • Participate in the development of new features and experiences for the F1 franchise
  • Work with debugging and profiling tools to optimize game performance

  • You are currently studying in the penultimate year of undergraduate study with a planned placement year
  • You are available to commence a full-time 12 month placement in July 2026
  • You are eligible to work in the UK without additional visa or relocation support
