Requirements
- Strong background in robotics, machine learning, and/or deep learning
- Experience in end-to-end vision-language-action models, reinforcement learning, real2sim/sim2real transfer, path planning and motion planning
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with ROS
- Familiarity with implementing robotic programs for robot arms, such as FANUC, ABB, etc.
- Hands-on experience working with robotic arms and systems
- Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
Responsibilities
- Apply theoretical knowledge into practice and gain invaluable hands-on experience with cutting edge robotics and AI technologies
- Work on robotics and embodied AI research projects
- Solve real-world technical problems and challenges
- Implement robotic programs for robot arms, such as FANUC, ABB, etc.
- Apply end-to-end vision-language-action models, reinforcement learning, real2sim/sim2real transfer, path planning and motion planning
- Work with ROS and Python
- Contribute to the development of robotics and autonomous systems
Other
- Currently enrolled in a full-time PhD program at a U.S. university in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, and related engineering majors, math or physics
- Permanent legal authorization to work in the US is required
- Willingness to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY
- Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and organization; demonstrated ability working with a team
