Infosys is seeking a SAS Platform Engineer to ensure the stability, security, and alignment of SAS platforms with strategic initiatives, supporting Data Scientists, Modelers, and Analysts.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Unix/Linux shell scripting and software deployment.
- Hands-on experience with SAS platform administration and support.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence principles.
- Experience in designing and architecting web-based applications and server technologies.
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, MongoDB.
- Knowledge of storage technologies (EMC, NetApp, Hadoop, S3).
- Understanding of network components (DNS, F5, Load Balancers).
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain SAS platforms (SAS Grid, SAS Marketing Automation)
- Maintain compliance with IT policies, standards, and service level agreements
- Document platform architecture, processes, and procedures
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidate must live within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate.
- This position may require travel in the US.
