Citi is seeking an innovative GenAI Engineering Lead to drive the adoption of Large Language Models and agentic flows to drive process efficiencies, automation, simplification, and risk reduction across enterprise business solutions.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience in engineering and executing enterprise solutions that scale
  • Fluency in at least two programming language, with preference for Python, Javascript/Typescript, Golang
  • Pytorch, TensorFlow experience
  • Understanding of language models, transformers, agentic frameworks
  • Rich understanding of vector stores and search algorithms
  • Experience in Java 8, SpringBoot, Python, Oracle/MongoDB & Docker/Kubernetes/Open Shift, messaging platforms
  • Direct engineering experience of high performance, large-scale AI/ML systems

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to both, engineering and research
  • Take a product-focused approach and build solutions that are robust, scalable, and easy to use
  • Work in a fast-paced environment tackling cutting-edge problems by constantly testing and learning
  • Pair programming for our products, be lean in your approach and remove bureaucracy where you see it
  • Deliver fast, iterating and pivot as you go, rather than defining the perfect solution upfront
  • Develop foundational components and mature technology capabilities in AI and LLMs
  • Drive adoption across the enterprise

Other

  • At least 10+ years of experience in financial services / technology firms / start-ups
  • Strong hands-on experience with Agile delivery, product management, value stream methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and proven track record in producing quality project artefacts, including senior management reports within a technology or risk & controls domain
  • Ability to structure and run product working groups across diverse stakeholders to drive a consensus on requirements and develop and implement process, data, system designs
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or engineering. Masters degree preferred
