Requirements
- Existing cybersecurity incident response experience
- An understanding of the IT and/or managed infrastructure services industry and technical aspects associated with the same
- Strong analytic skills
- Relevant experience and/or a degree in the engineering, software, computer science and/or digital forensic fields
- An understanding of US and international cybersecurity, data security and governance, artificial intelligence (AI), and cyber resiliency principles, laws or policies
- Additional language skills
- Technical acumen and an understanding of global legal and regulatory developments relating to cybersecurity, data security and, to a lesser extent, data governance and privacy
Responsibilities
- Work on a wide range of cybersecurity, data security and related regulatory matters
- Provide legal advice and guidance to business teams, including members of the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), the Security & Resiliency (S&R) and Delivery Global Practices
- Lead multi-stakeholder incident investigative teams
- Manage and oversee interactions with customers potentially impacted by incidents
- Provide proactive advice in a creative and business-centric way
- Support incident response activities relating to cybersecurity incidents arising throughout the US, the UK, Europe and, occasionally, in APAC/MEA and Japan
- Collaborate with Legal and business colleagues on cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory matters
Other
- Law degree from an accredited university in the United States
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Ability to work as part of diverse and multi-cultural teams comprised of legal and business colleagues
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
