Toyota is looking to implement its cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture. The role aims to build and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure and systems.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud security best practices, and enterprise technologies.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM) and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Extensive knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
  • Expertise in one or more of the following Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Proficiency in one or more of the following: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Ansible, Puppet.
  • Containerization & Orchestration. Skilled in one or more of the following: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Swarm.
  • CI/CD and Version Control Tools. Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, Travis CI, Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees DevSecOps and cloud engineering initiatives, ensuring secure, scalable, and agile cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Embeds with project teams to maintain architectural integrity and implement unified governance frameworks across large-scale efforts.
  • Tackles complex, high-impact challenges with diplomacy and expertise, creating innovative strategies that influence multiple business functions.
  • Mentors cross-functional teams in cloud and cybersecurity domains, fostering a culture of continuous learning, automation, and strategic alignment.
  • Implement the organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure and systems.

Other

  • Minimum of 20 years of technology experience.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale teams and managing complex projects in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and/or architecture.
  • Expert interpersonal skills, with proficiency in communicating across all levels of the organization and expertise in leading teams across multiple disciplines and strategies.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
