Electronic Arts is looking for an experienced Generalist Software Engineer to develop features for EA SPORTS Madden NFL's career-focused modes, aiming to enhance user experiences beyond gameplay and contribute to a connected, socially interactive game.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
- Able to review, test, debug, and extend existing code.
- Experience with software engineering principles and architectural design.
- Knowledge of data driven systems.
- Skills debugging complex applications.
- Knowledge developing web interfaces using JavaScript frameworks or technologies such as Flash, Action Script 3.0.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop.
Responsibilities
- Develop and extend offline and online features.
- Plan & implement a feature's core logic and flows.
- Design, maintain, implement, test and debug code.
- Work with designers to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Work with a team of other engineers in a collaborative environment while being overseen by a tech lead.
- Able to review, test, debug, and extend existing code.
- Skills debugging complex applications.

- This position will be hybrid/onsite in Orlando, FL and is a 12 month temporary position.
