The company is seeking a Geospatial Software Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge software solutions that harness the power of geospatial data, enabling impactful decision-making across various domains.
Requirements
- Proficiency in GIS software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Strong knowledge of spatial data structures and formats
- Expertise in geospatial programming languages (e.g., Python, R)
- Familiarity with spatial databases (e.g., PostGIS, Spatialite)
- Experience with geospatial web services (e.g., WMS, WFS)
- Knowledge of coordinate systems and projections
Responsibilities
- Design and develop geospatial software applications
- Process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data
- Ensure the integration of geospatial data with other systems
- Maintain and optimize geospatial databases and tools
- Develop custom algorithms for geospatial analysis
- Collaborate with teams to define software requirements for geospatial projects
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Software Engineering, or related field
- TS/SCI Full Poly clearance required (U.S. Citizenship required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
