Provide support for the design, development, and delivery of web or stand-alone applications relating to the implementation of geospatial technology for natural resource management.
Requirements
- Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, NodeJS, and Java or .Net development.
- Experience with front‐end Javascript libraries (preferably Angular).
- Development experience building RESTful web services.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or PostGIS, or other relevant SQL.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the design, development, and delivery of web or stand-alone applications relating to the implementation of geospatial technology for natural resource management.
- Products include web sites, web map viewers, non‐spatial web applications, and complex spatially-enabled interactive websites
Other
- Professional certification, or relevant coursework in computer science or related discipline, and seven (7) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications.
- Bachelor’s degree related to computer science or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications.
- Graduate degree related to computer science or related discipline and three (3) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications designing and building applications.
- PhD degree related to computer science or related discipline and one (1) year of relevant professional work experience.
