TerraSense, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is looking to solve the problem of testing soil/rock, concrete, aggregate, and other construction materials to ASTM and AASHTO standards in their Geotechnical Laboratory.
Requirements
- NJSAT, ACI, NICET certifications are preferred, but not required.
- Training and certifications will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing procedures in the laboratory accurately and in accordance with standards and specifications.
- Become proficient in soil and rock classification systems.
Other
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, or Physics is preferred.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
- Work hours will be 8 hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM most business days.
- Overtime work may be required.
- Work Environment may require regular exposure to bending, twisting, moderate to loud noise conditions and lifting weights of up to 75 lbs.
