The Aviation client is seeking a GIS Analyst to provide functional and technical support for their applications, focusing on enhancements, issue resolution, and project management. The role involves developing data collection apps and analytics using ESRI's low-code/no-code applications, supporting GIS (ESRI/CityWorks), and contributing to the organization's digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Cityworks, and/or ESRI
- Knowledge of web development such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, Arcade, or JavaScript
- Two (2) years of experience in GIS Analyst, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or similar experience.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Specialized knowledge in enterprise systems or geospatial technologies
- Design, configure, test and debug Web GIS and Mobile GIS software applications according to specifications as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Develops data collection apps and analytics (i.e., dashboards, reports, etc.) within the suite of ESRI’s low-code / no-code applications.
- Supporting GIS (ESRI/CityWorks), this role requires independent work as well as the ability to guide and mentor junior team members, collaborate with consulting resources, and assist with work orders.
- Respond quickly and prioritize requests for GIS maps, data analysis, and GIS applications.
- Compile, attribute, edit, and maintain data in geographic and operational databases, as well as the documentation that goes with it.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of GIS database quality control and assurance procedures.
- Provide GIS users with technical support and training on GIS applications and other GIS-related technologies.
- Assist in the conceptualization, gathering of requirements, analyzing, designing, and configuration of new Web GIS and Mobile GIS applications in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
