Requirements
- Strong skills in spatial analysis, cartography, and data visualization
- Ability to analyze and present data clearly
- GIS Professional (GISP) certification preferred
- Strong skills in spatial analysis, cartography, and data visualization
- Experience with GIS tools and technologies
- Ability to integrate GIS into environmental practices
- Knowledge of environmental impact assessments and compliance planning
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage geospatial databases for environmental projects
- Perform spatial analyses and generate visualizations
- Support environmental monitoring efforts through GIS applications
- Collaborate with teams to optimize land use and resource management
- Adaptability to evolving GIS technologies, staying updated with the latest tools, and integrating them into environmental practices
- Experience in environmental impact assessments, creating GIS tools, and workflows to support compliance and planning efforts
- May involve field data collection and stakeholder engagement for environmental projects
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or related field
- 2-4 years in GIS roles
