Responsibilities
Use ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, and ArcGIS Online (AGOL) to support routine and advanced mapping tasks;
Assist in the creation, maintenance, and use of geodatabases for environmental projects;
Use Survey123, Field Maps, or other ESRI field apps for field data form creation and QA/QC support;
Assist with collecting and managing GPS data using commercial-grade GPS equipment (e.g., EOS Arrow Gold);
Write or apply Python scripts, SQL queries, and/or VBA tools to automate GIS/database workflows;
Maintain and troubleshoot relational databases using platforms such as MS Access, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and/or EQuIS;
Create professional, publication-ready maps, dashboards, web maps, and data visualizations;

This part-time, limited-term internship (10–20 hrs/week for 13–15 weeks)
candidates must coordinate their own transportation when reporting in person.
Currently registered in a Bachelor’s or Master’s university degree program in a relevant technical discipline (geography, environmental science, geology, engineering, GIS) or a related field. (required)
