GSM Outdoors is looking to build and manage geospatial data pipelines, APIs, and feature services to support internal and customer-facing mapping solutions, driving smarter retail planning, marketing campaigns, and product innovation.
Requirements
- Proficiency with spatial databases such as PostGIS and SQL.
- Strong skills in Python for GIS data processing and automation.
- Hands-on experience with mapping platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox, Google Maps API).
- Knowledge of web mapping standards including GeoJSON, WMS, and WFS.
- Ability to design, optimize, and maintain geospatial workflows and pipelines
- Familiarity with deploying geospatial solutions for both internal and customer-facing applications.
- Strong skills in spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle Spatial)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain GIS data pipelines to integrate spatial datasets.
- Manage and optimize spatial databases and feature services (PostGIS, ArcGIS, Mapbox, etc.).
- Develop and deploy APIs to deliver geospatial data across applications.
- Design and maintain dynamic maps and feature-rich spatial layers.
- Ensure accuracy, scalability, and consistency of geospatial data.
- Automate geospatial data ingestion, processing, and validation workflows.
- Conduct spatial analysis to support business intelligence and retail planning.
