GSM Outdoors is looking to build and manage geospatial data pipelines, APIs, and feature services to support internal and customer-facing mapping solutions, driving smarter retail planning, marketing campaigns, and product innovation.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with spatial databases such as PostGIS and SQL.
  • Strong skills in Python for GIS data processing and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with mapping platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS, Mapbox, Google Maps API).
  • Knowledge of web mapping standards including GeoJSON, WMS, and WFS.
  • Ability to design, optimize, and maintain geospatial workflows and pipelines
  • Familiarity with deploying geospatial solutions for both internal and customer-facing applications.
  • Strong skills in spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle Spatial)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain GIS data pipelines to integrate spatial datasets.
  • Manage and optimize spatial databases and feature services (PostGIS, ArcGIS, Mapbox, etc.).
  • Develop and deploy APIs to deliver geospatial data across applications.
  • Design and maintain dynamic maps and feature-rich spatial layers.
  • Ensure accuracy, scalability, and consistency of geospatial data.
  • Automate geospatial data ingestion, processing, and validation workflows.
  • Conduct spatial analysis to support business intelligence and retail planning.
