Booz Allen is looking for a full stack developer to develop software and systems from vision to production-ready, with a focus on network modeling, GIS tool development, and object-oriented software design, to deliver advanced capabilities for analysts.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with version control systems and object-oriented programming, including C-Sharp, Python, or Java
- Experience with application containerization and full-stack web application development
- Experience with GIS tools
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals, concepts, and language mechanics, and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with .NET and .NET Core, Web API, MVC, or LINQ
- Experience with database technologies, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell or Python
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the full software lifecycle—including requirements analysis, architecture and design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and performant
- Work with fellow developers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate complex needs into robust, user-focused tools and features
- Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
- Contribute to the development of GIS tools
- Collaborate with a team to review code and solve problems
