Wood is seeking a GIS Specialist to work from their Sheridan, Wyoming office to support GIS-related initiatives and provide technical expertise
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Esri products such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Field Maps, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Hub
- Proficiency in Python or related coding languages
- Familiarity with CAD tools is a plus, enhancing the integration of spatial data with design projects
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 Products
- Experience with data collection tools using Survey123 and Field Maps
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools using Experience Builder and ArcGIS Hub
Responsibilities
- Provide troubleshooting and client support via phone and email
- Collaborate with team members and customers to drive GIS-related initiatives
- Create, update, and maintain GIS asset and attribute data
- Utilize CAD software to integrate GIS data with engineering designs
- Manage GIS maps for both existing and new clients
- Collect, analyze, and manage GIS data using Esri software
- Implement GIS accounts and data systems for diverse projects
Other
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, GIS, or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed on time
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
