NRG (O&R MAPPING SYSTEM) to GIS Migration
Requirements
- Familiarity with FAT, SAT/SIT, UAT planning and defect resolution
- Strong background in working on enterprise systems
- Deep understanding of the test plan process
- Familiarity with automated testing technologies
- Strong understanding of GIS applications and technologies
- Proven experience in GIS testing, with a focus on daily manual testing, performance testing, and vendor deliverables testing
- In-depth knowledge of integration technologies and best practices
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead the project team through the testing phases, ensuring the successful execution of all components of the testing plan.
- Performance Testing: Work with a team to set benchmarks to perform performance testing to stress-test GIS systems and identify areas for optimization.
- Vendor Deliverables Testing: Lead testing efforts for vendor deliverables, including factory acceptance, system acceptance, and user acceptance testing.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance measures to verify the effectiveness of testing solutions and defect resolution.
- Azure DevOps (or other testing software): Utilize Azure DevOps or other testing software for effective test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Metric Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting metrics to showcase the success or failure of testing efforts.
- Crafting Actionable Test Cases: Craft clear and actionable test cases that effectively validate GIS system functionality.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience
- Master's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Driver's License Required
