Google Compliance team needs to ensure the business is always consistent with current financial regulations, balancing legal and compliance requirements with user needs and company values, and proactively identifying and solving policy gaps.

Responsibilities
- Conduct control audits, process assessments, or technical risk reviews along with fluency with technical systems (e.g., APIs, databases, cloud environments).
- Develop efficient compliance systems and work with teams to implement these across the organization.
- Support organizations under regulatory settlements or consent decrees along with working in or with large technical companies or platforms with global compliance footprints.
- Manage advanced audit, risk, legal and assurance/testing.
- Ensure that the company maintains oversight, governance, and meets all its legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, Legal, PSS (Privacy, Safety and Security), and other impacted Product Areas.
Other
- 4 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
- Manage consumer compliance regulations such as, Consumer Protection Act; Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB); along with an understanding of laws and rules designed to safeguard the rights of consumers and ensure integrity in the marketplace.
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $107,000-$153,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
