Hitachi Energy USA INC is looking to solve the problem of leading the development and delivery of high-quality products in the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) domain, by hiring a Global Head of R&D for EPM.
Requirements
- Proven 20+ years’ experience in product development, software development, or software product delivery leadership.
- Strong background in R&D with a focus on leadership and management.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in software product development and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the R&D Product Group, including software engineering, testing, and delivery.
- Partner closely with the General Manager, Product Manager Lead, and PMO Lead to deliver quality products.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a global R&D team of approximately 150 professionals.
- Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the company's 2030 plan.
- Serve as the technology point of contact for customer escalations and opportunities.
- Drive the development of new products and enhancements to existing products in the portfolio.
- Manage the R&D budget and resources effectively to meet project goals and timelines.
Other
- MBA or other related advanced degree, in addition to extensive business experience, is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet with customers and serve as the technology point of contact for customer escalations and opportunities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience working in a global organization with a matrix structure.
