Alfabet Soup Consulting (ASC) is seeking a Global Health Intern to support the development of a 5-year resource mobilization strategy for a UN organization. This strategy aims to update and expand upon a previous plan by incorporating new research, global trends, and funding challenges related to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Requirements
- Excellent English writing skills (must provide research or analytical writing samples)
- Strong analytical skills (experience with statistical analysis is a plus)
- Experience with data visualization tools or presentation graphics
Responsibilities
- Conducting literature and media research on resource mobilization and global health trends
- Supporting the design and deployment of surveys
- Assisting in interviews with senior staff and stakeholders
- Performing data analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
- Developing charts, graphs, and visuals to present findings
- Drafting and editing written sections of the strategy document
- Bringing creative and strategic thinking to the project team
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (or in final year) in International Development, Public Health, Global Health, Political Science, Statistics, Business or a related field
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong interest in global development, health equity, and/or social impact
- Enrollment in or completion of a Master’s program in a business, data analytics, development or health-related field
