The Market Intelligence and Business Strategy (MIBS) team is seeking a leader of Animal Health Outcomes Research to lead value evidence strategy development and outcomes research to inform veterinary healthcare decision making.
Requirements
- Expertise/experience in the design and implementation of real-world evidence.
- A track record of scientific presentations, manuscript development and peer-reviewed publications.
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, ScD, PharmD) in relevant discipline (Health Services Research, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacy Administration).
- Master’s degree (MSc, MPH) in relevant discipline (Health Services Research, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Economics, Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacy Administration).
- Doctoral degree or Masters Degree with appropriate experience.
- Strongly prefer experience in Animal Health-related Outcomes Research, Epidemiology or Health Economics.
Responsibilities
- To design, execute and communicate results of observational research studies
- To generate value evidence including value dossiers, evidence synthesis, clinical trial analyses, economic modeling and patient-reported outcomes.
- To design and implement outcomes research studies, in collaboration with scientific leaders, veterinary medical centers, corporate veterinary health systems, research organizations, database holders and others.
- To prepare outcomes research protocols, statistical analysis plans, clinical study reports and manuscripts intended for peer-review.
- To ensure findings are communicated effectively at scientific conferences, in publications, dossiers, and by other channels.
- To provide expertise on observational study best practices, real world evidence frameworks, and internal standard operating procedures on the conduct of observational research.
Other
- To inform and contribute to the value evidence strategy and associated studies which describe clinical, economic, and patient-centered unmet needs and the value the product provides in addressing those needs.
- To communicate findings from the research to relevant internal and external audiences
- To support discussions with internal and external partners on value evidence strategies and plans for relevant study development and execution.
- To collaborate with internal stakeholders and consulting partners to ensure research priorities and strategies are aligned.
- To communicate with relevant external audiences including veterinary health care providers, clinic staff, veterinary teaching programs, peer-reviewed journals and producers that focus on animal production.
