CHEP is seeking a Product Innovation Engineer to lead product development initiatives that support their global serialization strategy, aiming to improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of goods transportation through digital product innovation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in engineering software/tools like Statistica, MiniTab, and Python
- Skilled in data-driven design and analytical problem-solving
- Experience analyzing critical data, experimental design, and engineering technical documentation
- Managing data through statistical software like Statistica
- Working understanding of design of experiments methods and tools
- Product testing methods and data evaluation
- Working knowledge of adhesives, films, and plastics
Responsibilities
- Deliver engineering design and analysis services to support a variety of projects and initiatives.
- Set up and perform testing or evaluation activities according to specified methods, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
- Analyse technical data using appropriate tools, providing clear observations, insights, and recommendations.
- Utilise engineering software and data analysis tools to interpret technical documents and support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce project times, and improve quality.
- Support project management activities, tracking progress, completion, and quality of deliverables.
- Evaluate new materials, processes and solutions to enable serialization and digital product programs.

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required
- Candidate must be a highly analytical, hands-on person with strong technical skills
- Strong communication skills, in order to present technical information clearly throughout different levels
- Capable of managing multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to excel independently and as a member of cross-functional teams
