Medtronic is looking to set global portfolio and go-to-market strategy for their suite of innovative software applications for Cranial and Spine customers, which offer unique capabilities for diagnosis, pre-operative planning, and clinical decision-making through AI. The role aims to address the need for improved data and information to enhance decision-making in healthcare.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience working in commercial strategy roles within the Informational Technology and software/services industries.
- Deep experience and understanding of the AI technology landscape; commercial expertise in developing deploying advanced AI algorithms within software platforms.
- Historical experience identifying and rolling out Software-as-a-Service revenue models.
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Demonstrated critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
- Experience driving results in a highly matrixed organization by collaborating across functional boundaries
Responsibilities
- Directs the development of company market requirements and the translation of those requirements into proposed projects and portfolio roadmap.
- Builds partnerships with 3rd parties (Healthcare providers, technology and software companies, etc) that enable new capabilities, provide access to critical data, and further build out our ecosystem of capabilities.
- Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, modeling revenue opportunity and overall project value.
- In collaboration with sales, works across his or her team to identify commercial go-to-market, promotional activities, and lead-gen strategy to realize revenue models.
- Directs strategies that maximize connectivity between our platforms and hospital customers.
- Directs team to participate and support partner commercial teams as needed, including Sales, Sales ops, Medical Education, Physician relations, etc.
- Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.

- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with 10+ years of managerial experience , or Advanced degree with a minimum 13 years prior relevant experience, minimum of 10 years of managerial experience
- Bachelors degree required
- MBA
- Undergraduate or graduate degrees in healthcare IT, R&D, or Finance
- Experience working with or in healthcare provider systems
