Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, encompassing RFQs, cost analytics, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Manage the cost, quality, and delivery of commodities across multiple programs.
- Develop and implement advanced cost tools and methodologies.
- Manage complex supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and material indices to identify cost savings and product improvements.
- Develop and negotiate creative commercial agreements.
- Onboard new suppliers and manage supplier performance.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management. Master's degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
