Oshkosh needs to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and defense security protocols for its global operations, requiring dedicated support for these complex areas.
Requirements
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
Responsibilities
- Review and compile information relating to commercial and military contracts.
- Coordinate projects involving corporate compliance, government contracts, defense security and intellectual property.
- Assist with legal/regulatory research work.
- Perform day-to-day administrative activities to support our trade compliance and security staff.
- All other duties or projects as assigned.
Other
- The Global Trade Compliance and Security Intern will primarily work under the supervision of the Director, Global Trade Compliance and other experienced staff to complete projects relating to international trade compliance and defense security.
- This is a year-round internship.
- Must be able to work in-person in Oshkosh, WI.
- Sophomore or Junior working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, political science, or with an interest in pursuing a law degree, or similar working towards Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to work independently and learn new programs quickly.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Outstanding written/verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
