Trimble Advanced Positioning is looking to hire a GNSS Network Engineer to monitor and manage operational networks that deliver real-time GNSS correction services, ensuring high availability and continuous operation of the underlying infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Intermediate knowledge about GNSS system
  • Basic practical knowledge of IT networking
  • Experience in data analysis, working with metrics and building monitoring systems (e.g. tools Grafana, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, DataDog).
  • Basic programming skills in Python or PowerShell (with focus on data analysis or processes automation)
  • Hands on experience with Trimble or other brand GNSS hard- and software.
  • knowledge about GNSS systems with focus on GNSS corrections and positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining of real-time GNSS correction services
  • Develop new approach of monitoring and processes around monitoring the GNSS and IT Infrastructure
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of the global CORS infrastructure (with main focus on Europe)
  • Provide 3rd level support to the Trimble Advanced Positioning customer care team.
  • Give technical advice and answer general service questions.
  • monitoring, operating and working as part of a 24x7x365 "Follow the Sun" network operations team
  • building monitoring and automation based on metrics coming from the monitored services

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English within technical context.
  • A limited amount of domestic and international travel will be required (Less than 10% of working time).
  • Hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 3 days per week in the office.
