Experient is looking to build and ship production features in Go/Golang with a sharp, supportive team to deliver results quickly and practically
Requirements
- 4+ years Go/Golang development experience, some React (Web and/or Native)
- Hands-on AWS & DevOps experience (containers, RDS/MySQL, VPC)
- Experience professionally with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) and modern review practices
- Experience with Go, React/React Native, AWS (Docker, RDS/MySQL, VPC)
- AI pair-programming experience
Responsibilities
- Lead a small Agile pod, model high-quality code and reviews
- Own technical design and delivery for backend services in Go
- Contribute to React/React Native as needed
- Improve team velocity by breaking work down, removing roadblocks, and raising the quality bar
- Troubleshoot production issues and guide sustainable fixes
- Coach junior engineers and contribute to sprint ceremonies
Other
- 8+ years of software engineering
- Experience collaborating with both engineering and business stakeholders while leading a small team
- Preferred experience in consulting, startup, or nonprofit environments
- Location: Atlanta, GA preferred
