EY's Government and Public Sector practice needs to help Federal, State, Local, and Education clients implement new ideas to achieve their mission outcomes by leveraging modern AI, data, and analytics. The role will focus on helping clients navigate the complex world of modern AI and data science to transform and improve their organizations.

Requirements

  • Experience with JavaScript and frameworks like React, Next.js or similar
  • Experience with back-end development (Python, FastAPI or similar)
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Vercel etc.
  • Experience developing, maintaining and improving web applications using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Svelte, Vue, Remix/React Router, etc.)
  • Understanding of generative AI models (openAI, Anthropic, open-source LLMs) into web-based products
  • Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and AI inference optimizations
  • Experience with RAG or fine-tuning models

Responsibilities

  • Designing and optimizing applications that leverage modern web frameworks and AI models.
  • Support government clients with delivering the latest data science and big data technologies and practices to design, build and maintain scalable and robust solutions that unify, enrich and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Implementing generative AI models.
  • Working with AI/ML engineers.
  • Developing web applications.
  • Ensuring quality and product excellence.
  • Experience writing tests, participating in code reviews

Other

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Candidate must be comfortable working onsite as needed in the greater Washington, DC area
  • Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights
  • Candidates should be willing to travel 20 – 30% or more.
