Price Page & Company is looking for an intern to gain hands-on experience in their Government Audit (GOV) Department, assisting with client work and developing technical skills in a modern, paperless environment.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with computers and willing to learn new accounting systems
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Prior experience in a paperless accounting or bookkeeping environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the upload of trial balances, creating of audit workpapers and preparation of financial statements.
- Reconcile client records to trial balance, potentially including analytical procedures.
- Perform audit procedures over cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, revenues, expenses, and other audit sections as assigned.
- Perform other accounting, auditing and consulting duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnel.

- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States upon hire.
