Emerson's advanced analytics team needs to turn data into actionable insights that drive business decisions by exploring customer purchasing patterns and building predictive models.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Python or similar programming language
- Experience with data wrangling tasks, including profiling, acquisition, transformation, and enhancement from multiple sources
- Understanding of agentic AI concepts, web scraping, and data pipeline development
- Ability to develop and evaluate models and recommend deployment strategies
- Knowledge of customer data domains
- Exposure to advanced machine learning techniques and emerging AI trends
- Knowledge of machine learning
Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models using internal and external data sources
- Create visualizations to explain insights and compare competing approaches
- Communicate recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Gain a deep understanding of customer purchasing data and collection processes
- Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders and data team members
- Explore customer purchasing patterns

Other
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, AI, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong communication skills to present plans and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
