The InfoSec Department at SPE is committed to safeguarding SPE’s information, including our most critical assets, our content, while enabling the business to operate securely and efficiently. The intern will support the Risk Management team and the Production Security team to provide enterprise-wide risk visibility and secure content throughout the production lifecycle.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, including working with large datasets to derive insights.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or techniques (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python libraries, etc.) to communicate findings effectively.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from risk programs, threat intelligence, and other security sources to identify trends, anomalies, and proactive risk reduction opportunities.
- Conduct research and data-driven analysis to uncover emerging risks and develop insights that inform risk strategy.
- Support end-to-end information security risk assessments for systems, workflows, and third-party engagements globally across SPE.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable processes and tools that improve production security maturity and reduce vulnerabilities.

- Experience (academic or professional) working within Information Security, including risk management, security operations, or cybersecurity research.
