Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in biological sciences
- successful completion of a background check
- pre-employment physical, including a drug screen may be required
Responsibilities
- conducts research under the guidance of a scientific mentor
- performs complex laboratory techniques
- generates hypotheses, designs, and records results of experiments
- assists with collecting, analyzing, and compiling research data
- maintains records, supplies and equipment
- assists with preparation of publications and grant applications
- attends seminars and presents data at scientific meetings
