Storr Office Environments is seeking a Graphic Designer Intern to help elevate their brand through a wide variety of design tasks, ensuring visual communication is consistent, polished, and impactful.
Requirements
- Proficiency with design software - Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is essential.
- Experience or comfort with video/motion tools (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent) and basic audio editing.
- Strong photo editing skills (retouching, background removal, color correction).
- Understanding of print production fundamentals: file formats, bleed, margins, color space (CMYK vs RGB), binding, paper stocks.
- Some experience with web/design tools like WordPress, Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Prior experience (academic, freelance, internship) in motion graphics or video production.
- Sound design or audio editing experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout of print materials such as booklets, brochures, flyers, posters, presentation decks, binders, etc.
- Photo editing, retouching, compositing; ensuring images are high quality, color corrected, ready for print or digital use.
- Pre-press/print preparation: file setup, bleed/safe margins, color modes, working with printers, binding options, paper types, etc.
- Creation of motion graphics, video editing, and sound production/basic audio editing for short videos or branded content.
- Designing digital graphics for online use: social media posts, website graphics, email campaigns, ad banners, etc.
- Maintain and extend brand guidelines / style guides; ensure consistency across all materials.
- Receive feedback, revise designs, iterate until deliverables meet high quality / perfection standards.

- A portfolio (school, freelance or personal work) demonstrating strong design eye: layout, hierarchy, typography, spacing, color use, composition.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to high quality and perfection in finished work.
- Strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple tasks.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; able to take direction/feedback well and iterate designs.
- Self-motivated, proactive learner; stays current with design trends, tools, and best practices.
