Arup is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to provide graphic support for its regional offices, helping to create visuals that solve complex challenges for clients, climate, and communities.
Requirements
- Strong Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Experience with the following computer applications: Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with video editing, animation, web design, and/or photography
- Portfolio link or samples of recent work must be included with your submission.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and produce various graphic and promotional materials including infographics, presentations, brochures, reports, newsletters, interactive documents, event collateral, email and social media content, advertisements, and miscellaneous graphic deliverables.
- Meet, engage, and collaborate with marketing, technical, and business development teams to create visuals that will require conceptual thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
- Serve as an ambassador to our members on matters related to brand and creative, including providing brand reviews and sharing resources.
- Assist with management and organization of image and graphic files.
Other
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design or related field.
- Enthusiasm for design, meticulous attention to detail, and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive attitude, with an ability to work within a team environment and with staff of different levels of experience
- Availability to work flexible hours when required
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the US without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future to be considered for this role.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines with great attention to detail
- Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of new tasks on a project-by-project basis
- Ability to work with minimum or no supervision, and take ownership of work
