Design and manufacture next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC) for Apple products.
Requirements
- Experience with CPU or GPU architecture and micro-architecture
- Experience with high performance, low power designs
- Experience with Verilog/System Verilog and HDL
- Knowledge in C/C++
- Experience in one of the following areas: cache, memory subsystem, on-chip interconnect network, data compression or GPU pipeline
- Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Python and Ruby
- Hands-on experience with RTL or architectural modeling
Responsibilities
- Develop power efficient, high-performance 3D graphics processor micro-architectures
- Specify new micro-architecture and optimize existing ones
- Analyze specific workloads across existing and new product categories to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate to improve processes and boost the efficiency of the entire team
- Assess the feasibility of ideas, refine ideas, and seed new ones
- Use intuition gained from experience as a guide but not as a filter
- Collaborate with experienced architects, designers, and modelers

- Minimum of BS degree and 10+ years of relevant experience
- Able to work in an environment of uncertainty and navigate through ambiguities
- Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills
