AMD is looking for software engineers to develop DirectX/Direct3D drivers for AMD GPUs, focusing on D3D driver quality, improving performance of key applications and benchmarks, and supporting new Direct3D 12 features.
Requirements
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills
- Experience programming and optimizing games
- Knowledge of computer hardware architecture and organization
- 3D Graphics API knowledge and experience (D3D, OpenGL, or Vulkan)
- 3D graphics driver knowledge and experience
- Windows development experience
- OS and performance knowledge and experience
Responsibilities
- The development, debugging, and performance tuning of graphics software running on Microsoft Windows
- The ability to debug low level hardware and operating system functionality is desired
- Design and develop new groundbreaking AMD technologies
