Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Ground Software Manager 3 to oversee a team of approximately 80 Ground Software Engineers, providing leadership, guidance, and vision toward repeatable processes that will enable the team to achieve predictable and balanced results while satisfying the needs of internal and external partners.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience, and significant direct experience in the field of Software Engineering, as well as program management.
- Experience leading a large, multi-layered organization with exceptional leadership skills to coordinate collaboration across engineering teams.
- Experience with NG products, processes, and procedures
- High proficiency in technical problem solving, including decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring.
- Significant experience with design, build, deployment, and aftermarket service of standard commercial software products.
- SW development background, including experience with C++, Python, Bash Shell Scripting, and/or Perl
- Strong experience in producing software architecture documentation.
