Black & Veatch is looking for an intern to assist with grounding analysis, contributing to projects that meet client needs and support the company's growth in sustainable infrastructure.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Electrical Engineering program.
- Relevant coursework or knowledge in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations.
- Understanding of engineering design principles and design guides.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and documentation of grounding calculations per industry standards, best practices, and client requirements
- Assist with the development of computer models used for detailed grounding calculations (CDEGS, WinIGS, etc.).
- Collaborate with other disciplines and schedule project deliverables.
- Organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems.
- Organize project materials, references, and documentation.
