Grainger is looking to solve the problem of improving user experiences for both their customers and internal employees by designing impactful enterprise applications and customer-facing experiences.
Requirements
- An understanding of design, usability, and research best practices
- Proficiency in common wireframing tools, preferably Figma
Responsibilities
- Work alongside a Senior UX Designer on design deliverables
- Participate in user feedback sessions to gain an understanding of how our tools are being used and identify improvement opportunities
- Provide ideas on how to improve upon our existing experiences and design systems
Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human-Centered Design, Design Methods, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Visual Design, or related fields
- Targeted graduation date between Winter 2026 – Fall 2027
- An interest in designing tools for internal Grainger employees
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Initiative to proactively plan and execute work
- The ability to make thoughtful decisions and explain your rationale to others
- The ability work in the US without visa sponsorship
